Paralympic Pathway Programme
The “Para Alpine Development Programme” held its summer race training camp in Oslo last week. The athletes spent 4 days of intensive training in the Oslo Snowdome, being coached by both Blake Williams and Ryan Swift.
Fife Roller Ski Races
The Snowsport Scotland rollerski races took place in Fife last weekend as part of the 2023 Scottish and GB Rollerski series. With the support of Fife Nordic Ski Club, a successful weekend of competition was held from a range of mass start races on Saturday to the Junior Skiathlon event on Sunday. Skiers from eight ski clubs all over the UK, from North East Scotland to London were in attendance for the battle of podium positions.
BASI Adaptive Courses
We are pleased to announce 2 new educational offerings focused on participants with additional needs and visual impairments. We have collaborated with BASI to offer Snowsport Scotland Instructors and Coaches access to two of their interactive online courses which will count as a CPD credit and to the complementary one day on slope courses for Alpine members that wish to get certification.
Clean Sport Week
We all have a role to play in keeping sport fair and clean. Snowsport Scotland is proud to reaffirm our commitment to clean sport by backing UK Anti-Doping’s (UKAD’s) Clean Sport Week campaign.
