Futures

EXPLORE, LEARN, HAVE FUN

What is
FUTURES?

Snowsport is much more than descending piste; exploring, learning new skills and most importantly having fun with friends are all part of the experience. Futures introduces the movements and skills of snowsport disciplines for children who can ski or snowboard. Want to learn how to jump, slide, spin, press or drop? Then FUTURES is for you.

Snowsport is made up of many dicsiplines, Park & Pipe, Cross, Banked Slalom, Freeride to name a few, and although each unique, offering differing approaches or outcomes, they are all built on shared Fundamental skills and most importantly are all fun!

Built to align and deliver our Snowsport Pathway FUTURES is about introducing skills to our community so our skiers and snowboarders can experience the disciplines snowsport has to offer and be introduced to the movements and practices of each.

FUTURES is a joint collaboration between Snowsport England, Snowsport Scotland & Snowsport Wales

The Snowsport Scotland pathway is based on the Sport Scotland Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model.
