Who are we?
A snapshot of Snowsport Scotland’s strategy and outcomes…
Snowsport Scotland is the Scottish Governing Body (SGB) for snowsports in Scotland.
Working within 4 year Winter Olympic and Paralympic cycles we focus on:-
1. Working with clubs and facilities to provide safe and inclusive opportunities to participate in snowsports.
2. Developing an effective workforce of volunteer event officials and snowsports coaches, leaders and instructors.
3. Providing education opportunities that allow people to learn, develop and excel in their chosen snowsports discipline.
4. Delivering accessible pathways for progression to the highest levels of performance competition.
Our Strategy
Our strategic plan spans 4 years in line with the Olympic cycle. The current strategy runs from 2022-2026 and focuses upon
PLACES - facility and club development.
PARTICIPATION - equal opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get involved.
EDUCATION - qualifications and courses for workforce and participant development.
PERFORMANCE PATHWAYS - programmes and events that support athlete development.
