Copper Horse GBR Series is back for 2025

We are pleased to announce that the Copper Horse GBR Series is back this summer for another season of thrilling ski races.

These events bring together the UK's most promising alpine skiers, giving them a chance to participate in regular ski races on artificial slopes across the country. There are 10 races in total (five races at outdoor facilities and five on indoor snow), organised by the three home nations: Snowsport England, Snowsport Scotland and Snowsport Cymru Wales. Most age groups can take part, from under 10s right up to Masters.

We’re also proud to have Copper Horse as our headline sponsor again for this year. Copper Horse is a leading organisation in cyber security, specialising in innovation and research for future security in artificial intelligence (AI), automotive, internet of things and mobile for clients across the world.  They will be attending the events with various cyber security and STEM-related activities for everyone to try out.

Here are the confirmed event dates for this year’s series:

  • Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 May - Chill Factore, Manchester (organised by Snowsport Cymru Wales)

As funding in this discipline is limited, we’re glad to be able to provide some assistance to support the growing number of brilliant skiers we have in the UK”.
