New dates for Arnold Clark Parallel Lines Series

Snowsport Scotland, in collaboration with Snowsport England, is thrilled to announce the new series of Parallel Lines, an exciting para race series designed to redefine inclusion and opportunity in snowsports. This innovative initiative aims to foster greater participation, celebrate talent, and push the boundaries of adaptive skiing and snowboarding across the UK’s vibrant snowsport community.

Running over the summer of 2025 across multiple venues, the races are slalom races suitable for a wide range of abilities, taking pace in various indoor snow centres across the UK. The format will allow for athletes to train and then have as many runs as they can fit into the 2 hour race window with your best time taken towards the results*. The results will be given a time factor based on age and nature of disability and then compared to a time set by a forerunner. With your factor taken into account you will be awarded either gold, silver or bronze depending on how close your time is to the forerunner. This is an ideal event for a family to compete together or with friends (see Who can come). There will be winners for the individual races and for the overall series.

Whether you’re a seasoned racer or just starting out, Parallel Lines is your chance to be part of something special. Registration is open now, and we encourage athletes of all experience levels to sign up and experience the inclusivity of the races.

We’re also calling on volunteers to join us in making this series a success. There are plenty of ways to get involved on race days.
