Here at Snowsport Scotland we truly believe that every skier and snowboarder will have a richer, more enjoyable and safer snowsports experience if they are equipped with the confidence that comes from a better understanding and knowledge of the hazards of the mountain environment.

For that reason we have been working closely with our top mountain guides and snowsports leaders to bring you a series of FREE educational videos and resources, containing content from the very highest level of snowsports qualifications, designed to provide you with everything you need to know to be safer on the slopes.

Let us introduce you to SNOWSMART – your very own self-service, free, online resource library of video content designed to help you become better educated, better equipped and more able to look after both yourself and fellow skiing and snowboarding companions when out on your snowsports adventures.

Snowsmart offers a syllabus of snowsports safety education for 4 levels of environment:-

SNOWSMART MINI – Offers school teachers all the resources they need to teach school children the necessary level of snow safety awareness appropriate to their age group and for supervised recreational activity outside in winter.

Winter 2021/22 see us launch Snowsmart version 1 which will  (and optional £60 1 day backcountry, and avalanche safety courses)
