Wear Purple on International Women’s Day 2022 – Tuesday 8th March!
Snowsport Scotland is supporting this year’s International Women’s Day and their mission to #BreakTheBias and we want as many of members and stakeholders to get involved with us!
Purple is the official colour of International Women’s Day!
Did you know that purple is considered to be the colour of loyalty, consistency to a purpose and ensuring consistency to a cause, symbolising achievements gained and achievements still to come?
On our journey to a Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive culture we have progress to celebrate and roadmaps for where we want to get to.
We have ways for you to show your support for International Women’s Day:
- On Tuesday March 8th – Wear something Purple
- If you use Teams or Zoom, download one of the lovely purple backgrounds for your camera from the International Women’s Day website and start using it now! See website link below: https://www.internationalwomensday.com/Zoom-backgrounds
- Will you help break the bias? Cross your arms to show solidarity. Strike the IWD 2022 pose and share your #BreakTheBias image with us and social media using #IWD2022 #BreakTheBias to encourage further people to commit to helping forge an inclusive world.
