AFTER A TWO-YEAR COVID-ENFORCED HIATUS, THE GB ALPINE CHAMPIONSHIPS WILL RETURN IN MARCH AND APRIL 2022. 

A packed race calendar will see the Senior and Junior Championships take place from 27 March to 3 April, followed by the Children’s Championships sponsored by Crystal from 4 – 8 April 2022. Both events will take place at the Championships’ traditional home of Tignes, France. 

With anticipation at an all-time high following two years of postponed competition, the GB Alpine Championships 2022 stands to welcome some of the world’s top Alpine talent alongside the brightest up-and-coming stars of the sport. 

Entries for both the Senior and Junior Championships, and the Children’s Championships, are officially open with full details of the provisional race programme available now. 

Entries for the Senior and Junior Championships close on 11 March.

For Children’s Championships the entry closing date is Friday 18 March. The entry criteria has been reviewed following the results from the English Alpine Championships 2022 and other races held to date in 2022 and taking into account that there were very few races held in 2020 and 2021. It has been decided that for the 2022 GB Children’s Championships there will be no seed point cut-off for entry. The situation will be reviewed during the 2023 season.
