A license to operate
COACH LEADER + INSTRUCTOR REGISTRATION
All coaches leaders and instructors are required to register with Snowsport Scotland annually to ensure they are licensed and insured to work.
Registration grants the member:-
PROFESSIONAL OR VOLUNTEER
When registering as a coach leader or instructor you have the choice to register as a “volunteer” or “professional”. If you are operating entirely voluntarily and at your own cost, then you may register as a “volunteer” coach, leader or instructor. If however, you receive any form of remuneration (including the reimbursement of expenses) for your services then you will require to register as a “professional”.
The registration year runs from 1st June to 31st May and costs are as follows:-
- PROFESSIONAL £60
- VOLUNTEER £20
