Following the extended question around the post Brexit legality of coaches operating in Europe, Snowsport Scotland have undertaken the task of contacting the Embassies and Consulates of the below countries, to secure definitive clarity on permission to work as a coach in Europe and specifically to deliver competition training for club trainees and athletes and provide competition support.

We are delighted to confirm that Italy, Switzerland, Andorra, Sweden and Bulgaria have all now confirmed in writing that coaches, contracted and paid in the UK, are permitted to travel and deliver competitive coaching and competition support to their trainees and athletes without the requirement of any additional visas or paperwork.

The countries we are still awaiting confirmation from include, France, Austria, Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Germany and Belgium and we will provide updates as soon as they are available.
