Snowsport Scotland Chair & Board Vacancies
Snowsport Scotland (SSS) is appointed by sportscotland (the National Agency for sport) to act as the Scottish Governing Body (SGB) for snowsports in Scotland. As such we work in partnership with like-minded organisations to encourage more participation in snowsports and to develop and support our best athletes to perform on the world stage.
Our existing Chair and several Board Members, having led the Organisation for the last six years, are nearing end of their term. Therefore, in order to achieve our Organisational ambition, we seek to appoint a Chair and Directors to lead the organisation through and beyond the Milan-Cortina Olympic and Paralympic cycle. Application Process. Please send a CV and Covering letter outlining suitability for chosen role to ceo@snowsportscotland.org or to discuss furth er. Closing date for all roles is 9th June 2023 at 17:00. Interviews will be conducted by a Nominations Committee who will make recommendations to the Snowsport Scotland Board and held in Edinburgh on the 20/21st June 2023. The incoming Chair and Directors will be appointed for an initial three-year term following the recommendation of the Nominations Panel. The appointment shall be ratified at each year’s AGM by a simple majority of those voting.
