As soon as you have learnt the basics of skiing or snowboarding and reached the equivalent of Snow Life Level 3+ you are ready to think about getting involved in a Skills Development Programme. The programmes take place at many centres and clubs across Scotland and focus on all mountain skills without any discipline specific focus.
The structure of the programmes varies from each facility. In some cases, clubs or centres may have development training squads and performance training squads with different focuses. Please enquire with your local centre or club to find out more about the programmes on offer.
Different disciplines, some at lower level programmes, are cross-discipline and encourage multi-discipline skills development. Descriptors used: Alpine, Cross Country, Freestyle, Freeride.
The below programmes are available to those looking to develop their skills on snow and/or artificial surfaces. These programmes are led by clubs, facilities or commercial organisations. Please visit the nearest club facility or their website to find out more!
