If you are looking to Coach, Instruct, or Lead in snowsport then a Snowsport Scotland Coaching Registration is for you! 

We offer a range of courses; whether you’re working part time at a local snowsports centre or building a career working with the best skiers and riders in the world. We also offer awards in other snowsports disciplines such as snowboarding, freestyle, cross country and telemark.

As a registered Coach, Instructor or Leader with Snowsport Scotland, you can receive public indemnity insurance to operate in the UK and a range of coach discounts and benefits from our partners.

We offer three separate licensing award pathways for Coaches, Instructors, & Leaders: 

Coaching Pathway 

Coaches in this pathway operate with competitive athletes, from skiers and snowboarders getting ready for their first event right up to training to be the best in the world.

Instructing Pathway

Instructors operating in this pathway work with recreational skiers, from complete beginners to experts. Holders of our highest level of SSS instructing licence are recognised internationally through the IASI instructing pathway.

Leading Pathway 

Snowsport Leaders gain a qualification to lead groups of skiers or snowboarders around the mountain.

Annual Fee: £55 or £50 (Direct Debit)
