Snowsport Scotland aims to build the size and skills of its coaching community year on year though the provision of formal training courses, CPD (Continual Professional Development) workshops and resources which coaches can use in their own sessions.

This page summarises the tools and resources available to coaches, instructors and leaders.

Alpine Coaching Tools

The Snowsport Scotland Alpine Athlete Tracking System has been developed to allows athletes to record the full history of their alpine skills and performance progression. At the front end of the system is an Athlete Dashboard which is designed to present all the historical performance and skills data in a series of charts and easy to interpret diagrams to help coaches and athletes identify areas requiring focus or attention.

Traffic Lights

Traffic Lights is an excel tracking system that uses visual indicators to represent how competently a rider can conduct tricks on different sizes of features.
