The UK Coaching Pathway (UKCP) and Nordic Performance Coach (NPC) courses are geared towards qualifying coaches with the necessary skills to safely and successfully train athletes with a specific focus on performance training and competitions. Snowsport Scotland works in conjunction with Snowsport England, Snowsport Wales, and British Ski & Snowboard to provide the UKCP courses that are available in Alpine, Snowboard and Freeski disciplines. Nordic is a standalone pathway offered by Snowsport Scotland.

Alpine, Snowboard, & Freeski

The pathways start with a 3-day course giving an introduction into performance coaching and will allow you to run sessions at artificial slopes or assist a L2 or above, running training sessions in the mountains.

Levels 2, 3 and 4 increase your coaching skills and give you greater responsibility and scope within which to use your qualification. Please see below for further information on each course.
