Cairngorm Head Coach Vacancy

Cairngorm are recruiting for a Head Coach for the 2018/2019 season and beyond

Cairngorm offer a competitive package with a minimum of 20 days guaranteed work on Saturdays and Sundays between January and March. The remuneration package includes pay for an additional 2 hours work during the week to be used for organising and delivering our programme working with the Coaching Trustee.

Additional work is available as conditions and training opportunities are developed as part of our year-round programme. This could include:-

Our Schools Programme – an additional 2 days work per week, mid week, during our core programme (Jan – March)

Alpine Training Camp – Hintertux, 2 weeks in October (from 2018 as 2017 already confirmed and coaches booked)

Summer Camp – UK Based

Midweek dry slope training – Aviemore Based

Fitness Testing and Training

Addittioal Work is available through their on snow 4 week extension programme, normally after easter and through a Christmas, New Year and Easter training (subject to conditions)

Ideally they are looking for somebody who can commit to the club for a period of 3 years. Our Head Coach will be instrumental in delivering our ambitious 4-year development plan (copy available on request) and objectives therein working with our part-time development officer and development trustee.

Additional ad hoc work will be available prior to the start of the 2019 training programme and you would be expected to assist in coach recruitment for that programme.

Alpine Coach - Muckhart & District Snowsports Club

Muckhart & District Snowsports Club are currently looking to recruit another coach to fill a position from Christmas to Easter. They are also looking for a coach to cover any dates where they are short staffed. 

Training takes place on Tuesday nights from 1830-2000 and Thursday nights from 1800-2100 at Firpark Ski Centre.
