The Dryslope Open, the second event of the Triple Crown, will take place at Bearsden Ski Club on Saturday 12th November with entries now live via the Facebook event here.
After an awesome event at Snow Factor on 10th September with some great performances as well as a fantastic atmosphere amongst competitors of all ages we're looking forward to welcoming skiers and snowboarders back to Bearsden! With Angus Malloch and Rio Peterson taking the snowboard categories at the Indoor Open they are leading the way in the Triple Crown standings whilst Chris McCormick and Kirsty Muir lead the way in the ski category. Standings are calculated using the BST ranking points from 3 events:
Indoor Open (10th Sept)
Dryslope Open (12th Nov)
Slopestyle Open (11th Mar)
The Dryslope Open will run as a 2 run qualification, 2 run final using the kicker and the quarter pipe (weighted 75/25) with approximate timings below:
1130 - 1215 – U12/U16 Registration
1200 - 1300 – U12/U16 Practice
1315 – 1430 – Riders briefing at the top of the slope followed by 2 runs for U12/U16. 2 runs Snowboard then Ski.
1415 – 1445 - 16+ Registration
1500 – 1530 – 16+ Practice
1545 – 1645 – Riders briefing at the top of the slope followed by 2 runs for 16+. 2 runs snowboard then ski.
1700 – 1715 – Finalists announced and practice for finalists.
1715 – 1745 – Finals. All Snowboarders, then all skiers.
1800 – 1830 – Prize-giving
