We are the national governing body for snowsports in Scotland. Together with our snowsports community of athletes, coaches, clubs and facilities we strive to engage as many people into the sport as possible and provide them with clear pathways and opportunities to learn, develop and excel in their chosen discipline.

SCOTTISH PARK + PIPE SERIES
New for 2025 The Scottish Park Series is a four stop competitive tour of Park & Pipe Freeski & Snowboarding events. Each stop of the Park Series will hold either a Rail Events (RE), a Big Air & Quarterpipe (BA), or a Slopestyle (SS) or a combination of each. Riders can enter and compete in their choice of events at each stop or compete across many events for the Overall Series title.

FUTURE CHAMPS
This exciting new series is aimed at primary school children who already have some experience on the slopes and are ready to take their skills to the next level. Whether they're budding skiers or snowboarders, Futures Champs offers the perfect introduction to park & pipe and competitive riding — all within a safe, supportive, and super fun environment.

PARALLEL LINES
The Parallel Lines race series is a fun open race, for both skiers and snowboarders, aimed at riders with disabilities and assisted needs but open to everyone!
Running over the summer of 2025 across multiple venues, the races are slalom races suitable for a wide range of abilities, taking pace in various indoor snow centres across the UK.

FAST TRACK L1 & L2 SKI INSTRUCTOR
A combined training pathway for aspiring ski instructors, providing the opportunity to complete the UKSS Level 1 and Level 2 Ski Instructor qualifications at a discounted rate, with the advantage of completing only one workplace logbook. The Level 1 Foundation qualification licenses instructors to teach beginners and early intermediates up to plough parallel at UK snowsport centres, while the Level 2 qualification extends this to teaching all levels at UK centres. With the addition of the 1-day On-Piste Leadership Skills Module, the Level 2 qualification can also be used in Scottish mountain snowsport resorts.

DISABILITY INSCLUSIVE SNOWBOARD
The Physical Impairments course explores common physical impairments, equipment adaptations, tailored learning approaches, and the Para Snowboard performance pathway. The Additional Needs course focuses on understanding common conditions, effective communication, and practical tools to adapt sessions for learners with additional support needs.

FAST TRACK L1 & L2 SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTOR
A combined training pathway for aspiring instructors, giving candidates the chance to complete the UKSS Level 1 and Level 2 Snowboard Instructor qualifications at a discounted rate, with the added benefit of completing only one workplace logbook. The Level 1 Foundation qualification licenses instructors to teach beginners and early intermediates at UK snowsport centres, while the Level 2 qualification extends this to delivering lessons from complete beginners through to advanced riders, covering piste performance, flatland tricks, and basic freestyle outside a park environment.

CHILD WELLBEING & PROTECTION IN SPORT (CWPS)
The Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport course is for coaches and sports volunteers. The training will provide you with the knowledge on child wellbeing and protection that will give you the confidence to deal with issues that may arise in your role working with children.
